Departamento de Pomán
Pomán is a department of the province of Catamarca in Argentina that has 4859 km². Its population is 10,776 hab. It is located in the western slope of the Sierras de Ambato, at a height that ranges between 700 and 1600 meters above sea level. Administratively it is divided into 9 districts: Saujil, Rincón, Pomán, Siján, Joyango, San Miguel, Mutquín, Rosario de Colana and Colpes.
