Cantón Chone
The Chone canton is an Ecuadorian subnational territorial entity of the Province of Manabí, administered by a municipality in its juridical instances. Its headquarters and capital is Chone, where all its main public and private institutions reside. Chone canton extends throughout the northern and northern areas of the province of Manabí, occupying the largest territorial proportion of said jurisdiction, located in the northwestern zone of the Ecuadorian coastal region and being located in the equatorial line. It is divided at the hemispheric level by said main parallel line that hovers over a productive, humid and torrid subsoil. Officially, it is divided into 9 parishes: 2 urban and 7 rural.
