Cantón Eloy Alfaro
The canton Eloy Alfaro is located to the north of the Province of Esmeraldas, in Ecuador. Its cantonal head is the city of Valdéz better known as Limones. The main towns are Borbón, Maldonado, Selva Alegre, Playa de Oro, Atahualpa, Zapallo Grande, San Francisco del Onzole, Santo Domingo del Onzole and Santa Lucía de Las Peñas. These populations are distributed along the Santiago River basin, where the Cayapas River and the Onzole River also converge.
