Cantón Junín
Junín is a canton of the province of Manabí in Ecuador, has a population of 26,942 inhabitants, its current mayor for the period 2014-2019 Eng. Kleber Miguel Solórzano Villavicencio, son of the deceased former Mayor of Junín for 2 terms and Deputy of the Republic of Ecuador Mr. Ketier Solórzano Jaramillo and Mrs. Mariana Villavicencio Nieto. Its cantonization date was November 8,1952.
