Cantón Montecristi
Montecristi is a canton of the province of Manabí in Ecuador, is located south east of the province manabita. Among its greatest attractions are the Isla de la Plata, famous for whale sightings. From November 29,2007, it was the seat of the Constituent Assembly, because it was the birthplace of Eloy Alfaro, a series of historic buildings called Ciudad Alfaro was built.
