Santa María Huatulco, known simply as Huatulco, is one of the 570 municipalities that make up the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It belongs to the district of Pochutla, within the coastal region. It receives year after year different migratory birds. Chachacual: is a large ecological reserve integrated into the Huatulco National Park. It has two virgin beaches: Chachacual and La India. To date, the only access route is by sea. San Agustín: approximately 1,500 meters long and 20 to 80 meters wide, it has a white coral reef just a few meters offshore. It has two beaches: San Agustín and Cacalutilla.
