Totolac
Totolac is a municipality of the Mexican state of Tlaxcala. Here the archaeological remains of Tepeticpac, Ocotelulco and Quiahuixtlán are preserved, seat of three of the four main Señoríos of the Old Republic of Tlaxcallan, indelible mark of our pre-Columbian heritage. In the sixteenth century, hundreds of families left here to pacify and colonize the north of New Spain, a process that allowed the Tlaxcalans to participate actively in shaping the current Mexican nation, as well as the multifaceted current Ibero-American culture.
