Sanctórum de Lázaro Cárdenas
The Municipality of Sanctórum de Lázaro Cárdenas is one of the 60 municipalities of the state of Tlaxcala, has a population of 8474 inhabitants and is located in the northwest of the state. It was founded as a free municipality on May 21,1935 under the name of General Lázaro Cárdenas, although the town was formerly known as Tzacualtitla, which translates as "between or in a closed place". The Sanctórum denomination means in Latin, it is an eminently agricultural municipality but the municipal seat is widely known for its elaboration of pyrotechnic games.
