Ciudad Ixtepec
Ciudad Ixtepec, is a town within the municipality of the same name in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Located in the region of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. The city is 45 minutes from Tehuantepec and 4.5 hours from the state capital, Oaxaca de Juárez. It has a vast cultural tradition inherited from the Zapotecs and has been enriched over the decades because people from all over have come to live there. It also has, possibly the oldest settlement in the entire region.
