General Bravo is a municipality located in the eastern part of the State of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The municipal head is at coordinates 25º48 'north latitude and 99º 10' west longitude. It is located at a height of 150 m above sea level, and its population is 7,799 inhabitants, spread over an area of 2,073.2 km². The most important economic sectors are livestock, agricultural and commercial. Among the festivities are mentioned the foundation held in November, the feast of the Holy Cross, patron of the municipality in the month of May. The holidays of September: month of the motherland. The population of 2000 was 5,854 inhabitants, in the 2005 census it was 6,385 inhabitants.
