San Blas
San Blas is a city and port of the Mexican state of Nayarit, it is located facing the Pacific Ocean. It is the head of the municipality of San Blas. It was founded at the time of the Spanish colony and was one of the two main ports in the Pacific Ocean of the Viceroyalty of New Spain next to Acapulco. From San Blas many of the expeditions headed for the North Pacific Ocean to expand Spanish rule in these unknown lands while protecting the recent discoveries from invaders.
