Cuernavaca
Cuernavaca is a Mexican city, capital of the state of Morelos, located 85 km south of Mexico City and 290 km north of Acapulco. According to figures from the 2010 Inegi Population and Housing Census, the municipality had 365,168 inhabitants. However, the urban area overflows to other nearby municipalities, conurba several localities and constitutes a metropolitan area of 857,386 inhabitants in the same year, which places it in the Fifteenth place of Metropolitan Zones of Mexico. Cuernavaca also ranks seventh among the cities with the highest HDI nationwide.
