Charapan
Charapan is located in the western part of the state, bordered on the north by Tangancícuaro and Chilchota, on the east by Paracho, on the south by Uruapan and Los Reyes and on the west by Los Reyes. Its distance to the capital of the state is 208 km. The relief is formed by the neovolcanic axis and valleys between mountains and the Uruapan mountain range with the Cerros Alberca and Cerro Patambán.
