Ario
Ario de Rosales is one of the 113 municipalities that make up the state of Michoacán and its name is interpreted as Lugar Donde Mandó or Desde Donde Comndró Saying Algo. It is located in the southern center of the state and approximately 107 kilometers south of the city of Morelia. Account with a territorial extension of 694.60 km², which represents 1.18% of the territory of the state. According to the 2010 Population and Housing Count, the municipality had 34,848 inhabitants, unlike the 31,647 that lived there in 2005.
