Acatic
Acatic is a municipality and town of the High South Region of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It is located approximately 65 km east of Guadalajara. According to the II Population and Housing Count of 2015, the municipality has 30,430 inhabitants. Their name comes from Nahuatl and is interpreted as: "Entre las Cañas" or "Entre el Cañaveral." Its territorial extension is 362.39 km2 and The population is mainly dedicated to the primary sector.
