Santiago Papasquiaro is one of 39 municipalities in the state of Durango in northwestern Mexico. Its chief town is the city of Santiago Papasquiaro. Its area is 7,238.4 km2. In 2010, the total population was 44,966 inhabitants, against 41,539 inhabitants in 2005. In 2010, the city of Santiago Papasquiaro has a population of 26,121 inhabitants.
