Sechura
Sechura is a city in northwestern Peru, capital of the Province of Sechura, located about 50 km south of Piura, in the middle of the Sechura Desert, such that Sechura is also known as the "Capital of the Sand". It has an estimated population of 44 103 inhabitants for the year 2015. The province of Sechura, is the most recent creation in the department of Piura, is located in the South of Piura, bordered on the North by it and with Paita, by the This with Piura and Lambayeque, by the South with Lambayeque and the Pacific Ocean and by the West, in the same way with the Pacific Ocean. It is the largest province of Piura, with an area of 6,369.93 km2.
