Panola County
Panola County is one of the 254 counties of the US state of Texas. The county seat is Carthage, as is its largest city. The county has an area of 2,127 km² and a population of 22,756 inhabitants, for a population density of 11 inhabitants / km². This county was founded in 1846. It is one of the 46 counties in Texas that prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages.
