Sunflower County
Sunflower County, founded in 1844, is a county in the US state of Mississippi. In the year 2000 it had a population of 34,369 inhabitants with a population density of 19 people per km² The county seat is Indianola, it has the Mississippi State Penitentiary of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
