Hancock County
Hancock County, founded in 1812, is a county in the US state of Mississippi. In the year 2000 it had a population of 42,967 inhabitants with a population density of 35 people per km² The county seat is Bay St. Louis. Hurricane Katrina on August 28 and 29,2005 caused serious damage to the county.
