Province of Carabaya
The province of Carabaya is one of the thirteen that make up the department of Puno, under the administration of the Regional Government of Puno in Peru. It limits on the north with the Department of Madre de Dios. On the east with the Province of Sandia. To the south, the Province of Azángaro and the Province of Melgar. And, on the west with the Department of Cusco. From the hierarchical point of view of the Catholic Church is part of the Prelature of Ayaviri, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Arequipa.
