Province of La Convención
The province of La Convención is one of the thirteen that make up the department of Cuzco, under the administration of the regional government of Cuzco. It limits by the North with the department of Junín and the department of Ucayali. On the East with the department of Madre de Dios. On the South with the provinces of Calca, Urubamba and Anta. And, on the west with the department of Ayacucho and the department of Apurímac. From the hierarchical point of view of the Catholic Church is part of the Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Maldonado.
