Departamento de Monteros
Monteros is a department located in the province of Tucumán, Argentina. It is bordered on the north by the departments Tafí del Valle and Famaillá, on the east by the departments of Leales and Simoca, on the south by Chicligasta and on the west by the province of Catamarca. Its head is the city of Monteros. Part of the most mountainous area of this department is a section of the Aconquija National Park. The relief appears mountainous in the west and with plains in the east.
