Departamento de Río Chico
Río Chico is a department located in the province of Tucumán. Located in the piedmont region of the provincial southwest. It limits to the north with the Chicligasta departments, to the east with Simoca, to the south with Juan Bautista Alberdi and to the west with the province of Catamarca. Its most important capital and urban center is the city of Aguilares.
