Province of Huamalíes
The province of Huamalíes is one of the eleven that make up the department of Huánuco in central Peru. It limits by the North with the province of Huacaybamba. On the East with the province of Leoncio Prado. On the South with the province of Dos de Mayo. And, by the West with the province of Huari of the department of Áncash. The province has a population of approximately 68 thousand inhabitants and its capital is the city of Llata.
