Province of Santiago de Chuco
The province of Santiago de Chuco is one of the twelve that make up the department of La Libertad in the North of Peru. It limits by the North with the province of Otuzco and the province of Sánchez Carrión. On the East with the province of Pataz. On the South with the department of Ancash. And, on the west with the province of Virú and the province of Julcán. From the hierarchical point of view of the Catholic Church, with the exception of the District of Sitabamba, the province is part of the Archdiocese of Trujillo.
