Departamento de Gualeguaychú
Gualeguaychú is a department of the southeast of the province of Entre Ríos in the Argentine Republic. Its head is the city of Gualeguaychú. It is the second largest in the province with an area of 7086 km² and the third most populated, with 109 461 inhabitants according to 2010 census. It is bordered on the west by the departments Tala and Gualeguay, on the north by the department of Uruguay, on the south by the Department of the Ibicuy Islands and to the east with the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.
