Bridgend county borough
Bridgend is a unitary authority with the status of county municipality, located in the southern part of Wales, it is located in the historic county of Glamorgan. It limits with the unitary authorities of Neath Port Talbot to the northwest, Rhondda Cynon Taf to the northeast, and Vale of Glamorgan to the southeast. To the southwest it is bathed by the Bristol Channel. Its main urban centers, apart from the city of Bridgend itself, are Maesteg, Pencoed, and Porthcawl.
