Sefton
The Metropolitan District of Sefton is a metropolitan district of Merseyside County in England. Its administrative center is the City of Bootle. Sefton was formed by a government act in 1974 by amalgamating counties or urban districts of Bootle, Crosby, Formby, Litherland, Southport, and parts of Lancashire West. He was placed in the metropolitan county of Merseyside. The coastal region is bordered on the west by the Irish Sea. The town of Bootle, which is part of Liverpool's urban area, is south of the coast and the coastal town of Southport is to the north. The district is just north of the important city of Liverpool.
