Naftalan is one of the eleven autonomous cities of Azerbaijan. It is 330 km west of Baku and 50 km from Ganja. The territory of the city is 35.73 square kilometers. Naftalan is known as the home of spas since 1926. Naphthalene provides therapeutic properties to petroleum.
