Artemisa
The Province of Artemisa is a new Cuban province established as of January 1,2011, derived from the division of the former province of Havana in the current Artemisa and Mayabeque. The province of Artemisa comprises the western half of the extinct Havana plus three contiguous municipalities from the Province of Pinar del Río. The capital is the city of Artemisa, which was the largest municipality in size and population of the former province of Havana.
