Ngöbe-Buglé

Ngäbe-Buglé is an indigenous region of Panama. It has Autonomous Government represented by the Cacique General Ngäbe Buglé and the Ngäbe Buglé General Congress. It was created by Law No.10 of March 7,1997 and states that the lands are the collective property of these two indigenous peoples from the territory of Bocas del Toro, Chiriqui and Veraguas, whose capital is Llano Tugrí. The region is inhabited by the indigenous Ngäbe, buglé, as well as peasants, and there are 2,13860 people living there, and its area is 6968 km².
