Florida
Florida is one of the 78 municipalities of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico located in the north central region. In the 2010 Census it had a population of 12 680 inhabitants and a population density of 321.62 persons per km² It was founded on June 14,1971. Florida borders on the north with Barceloneta and Manatí, on the south with Utuado and Ciales, west with Arecibo and east with Manatí and Ciales. Florida is divided between the Florida Adentro neighborhood and Florida Pueblo, the administrative center and main town of the municipality.
