Barceloneta
Barceloneta is a municipality located in the northern region of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Founded in 1881 by the Spaniard Bonocio Llenza Feliú because it brought back fond memories of his native land Barcelona,Spain. Barceloneta is divided into 3 neighborhoods and Barceloneta Pueblo, the administrative center and main town of the municipality. Barceloneta is known as «The City of Pineapples»,«Industrial City»,«The People of the Indians» and «The People of Sixto Escobar».
