Atlántico Norte (RAAN)
The Autonomous Region of the North Caribbean Coast is one of the two autonomous regions of Nicaragua, it is the second largest subnational entity in Central America behind the Petén department in Guatemala, and the largest entity in terms of Nicaragua's territory. Its administrative headquarters is the city of Bilwi, head of the municipality of Puerto Cabezas. It has 33,156 km² and a population of 314,130 inhabitants.
