Coclé is a province of central Panama. Its surface is 4,927 km² and has 228,676 inhabitants, its capital is Penonomé. It limits to the north with the province of Columbus, to the east with the province of Panama West, to the south with that of Herrera and the Gulf of Parita and to the west with that of Veraguas. The center and north of the province are injured by the central mountain range. To the south belongs the central plains, very fertile lowlands that extend to the coast.
