Cauca
Cauca is one of the thirty-two departments that, together with Bogotá, Distrito Capital, make up the Republic of Colombia. Its capital is Popayán. It is located southwest of the country in the Andean and Pacific regions, bounded on the north by Valle del Cauca and Tolima, on the east by Huila, south east by Caquetá, south by Putumayo and Nariño, and northwest by the Pacific Ocean.
