Toledo is one of the six districts in which the territory of Belize is divided. Toledo is the southernmost of all the districts. It limits to the north with the districts of Key and Stann Creek. To the west, with the Guatemalan department of Petén. To the east, with the Caribbean Sea. And to the south, with the Guatemalan department of Izabal. The capital of Toledo is Punta Gorda, a small town located on the coast of the Caribbean Sea. The district of Toledo has an area of 4,649 km² and a population in 2010 of 30,785 inhabitants, being the district with the lowest population in Belize. The second largest city in the district is Silver Creek.
