Ashanti
Ashanti is an administrative region of central Ghana. Kumasi is the capital and the largest city. The majority of the inhabitants of the region are of Ashanti ethnicity, one of the most numerous in Ghana. Its traditional architecture is part of the Unesco World Heritage Site, with 21 districts. A large part of Ghanaian cocoa is grown and produced in this region.
