Meru
Meru County is a county of Kenya. It is located in the center of the country and its capital is Meru. The total population of the county is of 1 356 301 inhabitants according to the census of 2009. It extends by an area of 6936.2 km ² It is surrounded, in clockwise direction and beginning by the north, by the counties of Isiolo, Kitui, Tharaka, Kirinyaga, Nyeri and Laikipia.
