The county of Mombasa is a county of Kenya. It is located in the southeast of the country and its capital is Mombasa. It has 939 370 inhabitants according to the census of 2009. It is a small county in extension, that only includes the Island of Mombasa and the three peninsulas that connect it with the continent.
