Uva
The Province of Uva is the second least populated province of Sri Lanka, with 1,187,335 people. It was created in 1896. It is subdivided into two districts: Badulla and Moneragala. The capital city of the province is Badulla. Uva borders the Eastern Province, the Southern Province and the Central Province. Its major tourist attractions are Dunhinda, Diyaluma and Rawana Falls, Yala National Park and Gal Oya National Park. The hills of the Gal Oya and the central mountains are the main highlands, while Mahaweli and Menik are the main rivers. The surface of this province is 9952 square kilometers.
