Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago, also called Trinidad and Tobago, whose official name is the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, is one of the thirteen countries that form the Insular America, Antilles or Islands of the Caribbean, one of the thirty-five of the American continent. Its capital is Port of Spain and its most populated city, Chaguanas. It is located in the extreme south of the Antilles, found south of Granada, and on the continental shelf of the eastern coast of Venezuela. With 1 349 667 inhabitants in 2015, it is the sixth most populous country in the Caribbean, behind Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico and Jamaica.

Its territory is made up of two main islands, Trinidad - the largest and most populated - and Tobago, as well as several smaller islands, organized into fourteen corporate regions. Its form of government is the parliamentary republic.
