Matlapa
Matlapa is one of the 58 municipalities that constitute the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí. It is located southeast of the state and approximately 376 kilometers from the city of San Luis Potosí. It has a territorial extension of 110.28 km². According to the II Population and Housing Count of 2005, the municipality has 5062 inhabitants, of which 2,678 are men and 2,384 are women, whose name is interpreted as: "Place of Networks".
