Santiago Miahuatlán
The municipality of Santiago Miahuatlán is one of the 217 municipalities that make up the Mexican state of Puebla. It comes from the Nahuatl that is derived from "miahuatl", spike of corn,"tlan", between or together and they make the meaning: "between the ears of the corn canes". Its head is the town of Santiago Miahuatlán. The municipality is part of the metropolitan area of Tehuacán.
