Caxhuacan
Caxhuacan is one of the 217 municipalities that constitute the Mexican state of Puebla. Its name is interpreted as Place of bowls, Place where the holders of Cajetes or Place in a cajete this last one in reference to the geomorphology where the population is based. In Totonac, the native language of the municipality,"Kalakakgna". It is located north of the state and approximately 243 km north of the city of Puebla. It has a territorial extension of 20.41 km². According to the results of the 2010 Population and Housing Census, the municipality has 3,791 inhabitants, of which 1,404 are men and 1,560 are women.
