The municipality of Tolcayuca is one of the eighty-four municipalities that make up the state of Hidalgo in Mexico. Whose municipal seat is the town of Tolcayuca. It borders the north with the state of Mexico and the municipalities of San Agustín Tlaxiaca and Zapotlán de Juárez.
