Azoyú
Azoyú is one of the 81 municipalities of the Mexican state of Guerrero, located south of the Mexican Republic. It is a coastal municipality, which is part of the Costa Chica region of Guerrero and Oaxaca. Azoyú is known for being the site from which two very important colonial codices come, which allow the knowledge of the history of the Tlapanec region at that time. These codices are called Azoyú I and II.
