San Luis de la Paz
San Luis de la Paz is a city in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, municipal seat of the municipality of the same name. It is a municipality and city, was founded on August 25,1552, as a defensive city on the Camino de la Plata, which linked the Zacatecas mines with the capital of the Viceroyalty of New Spain: Mexico City, during the Spanish domination. It owes its name to the Peace Treaty between Otomí Indians and the Chichimec natives, on the day of Saint Louis of France, August 25.
