Huitiupán
Huitiupán is a Mexican municipality located north of the state of Chiapas, its head is the town of the same name. It is located in the mountains of northern Chiapas so it predominates the mountainous relief, its geographical coordinates are 17º10 " N and 92º41 " W. Its altitude is 290 meters above sea level. Total population, 2010 22,536. It limits to the north with the State of Tabasco, to the east with the municipality of Sabanilla, to the south with Simojovel de Allende, to the west with Pueblo Nuevo Solistahuacán, Amatán and Ixhuatán.
